Safe Homes of Orange County is a private non-profit agency dedicated to providing confidential assistance to victims of domestic violence, teen dating violence, and human trafficking. Their mission is to work towards eliminating all forms of domestic violence, teen dating violence, and human trafficking through education, outreach, and provision of services to individuals and families.
Safe Homes of Orange County services include a 24-hour-hotline answered by trained advocates and/or volunteers; a 17-bed shelter facility in a home-like environment; advocacy services for residential and non-residential clients, including accompaniment to court and police departments; legal assistance and a Court Advocate with the District Attorney’s Office; free legal aid through our Family Justice Center, offering centralized, wrap-around services to victims and their children; a Liaison with the Department of Social Services to help clients navigate the system; a Residential Children Services Program and Coordinator; individual support and weekly support groups in the county’s three cities; a Teen Dating-Violence Prevention Program promoting safe and healthy dating, targeting middle and high-schools, youth groups, & residential programs.
